The Dialogue & Difference team has created an opportunity for all George Mason affiliates to share a piece of their individuality through video submissions. We are asking for students, faculty, and other staff to give us a glimpse of their unique identities in hopes that we may find commonality among each other. The Mason Showcase asks for the participants to share a hobby, an interest, or a skill that impacts their culture / identity. Participants are also welcome to share their words of peace that will help to motivate others during these times of uncertainty. While we may not be able to hold our in-person dialogues, our community can continue to grow through our attempts to learn about one another!
If you are wanting to participate in the Mason Showcase, we ask that you submit your videos to dialogue@gmu.edu or direct message us on any of our social media accounts that can be found at the bottom of the page. Videos should be between 2-4 minutes long so that we may include a compilation of all of the weekly submissions. Please include your name and your affiliation with George Mason University so that we may give you credit and feel free to shoutout your own personal social media accounts! Additional information can be found on the flyer attached to this posting.
By submitting your videos you are agreeing to the following terms: The Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution and any other person or entity authorized by The Carter School can make copies in any form or media of the Recording made of me and described above, including digitized copies or written transcriptions.
