Allison Kraemer, Dialogue Panelist

Our first D&D event of the semester is next Tuesday, February 20th, 2018. The dialogue will focus on various aspects of sexual harassment and the #MeToo movement.

We are excited to announce one of the panelists, Allison Kraemer! Read below to learn more about Allison. We hope to see you Tuesday!

Allison Kraemer, pronouns she/her/hers, currently works at the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), based in Washington D.C, as the Development Coordinator. HRC is the largest civil rights organization working to achieve full equality for LGBTQ people. Prior to her work at HRC, Allison received her Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Middle East Studies from Florida State University. Following graduation, Allison spent three and a half years living and working in Morocco and Ethiopia as an English language teacher and Peace Corps volunteer. During her time abroad, Allison developed several successful girls’ and women’s empowerment programs focused on gender equality, leadership skills, reproductive health and self-esteem building. Allison’s experiences abroad helped to lay the foundation for her work as a passionate advocate for equality for all, regardless of sex, gender-identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity or religion.
